Fox International Fellowship Selection Criteria
•Demonstrated commitment to serious research, and a potential for leadership. The main objective of the program is to identify and help foster potential “citizen ambassadors” who will participate in guiding the world toward a more peaceful order, thus we are funding both the proposal and the “person.”
•Competition is open to graduate and professional students, graduating graduate students and graduating seniors conducting research in economics, political science, international relations, law, business and finance, management, environmental policy or contemporary history, with preference for topics of contemporary, applied, institutional relevance to issues of war and peace, economic growth or stagnation. The candidates may come from different disciplines and departments as long as their project focuses on a blend of one of these fields.
•Students wishing to study at Yale must demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
** Please note that applications from international students proposing research projects in their country of origin are not eligible (ie, US citizens are not eligible to apply for a fellowship at Yale). We prefer to receive applications from students who have not spent a significant amount of time in the US previously.
